Morning Glory Challenge.

This is a challenge set by one of the sites I am on.  The photograph is breathtakingly beautiful and a bit confusing at the same time.  I kept to the challenge and tried to capture the sky as is, however I did add more light to the scene and brought the view closer to the eye.  The photo is on the left, painting on the right.
Oil on canvas.

Size H580mm x W710mm.

MORNING GLORY.
Whenever I see sunbeams coming through clouds, it always looks to me like God shining himself down onto us. The thing about sunbeams is they're always there even though we can't always see them. Same with God". ~Terri Guillemets
